Update #8

A lot has happened in two and a half years. I am on my third year of medical school and got married.

I have been trying to juggle school, volunteering, research, and other extracurricular activities. It’s made it difficult to pursue my passion of writing, but here I am. If you haven’t seen, I posted a new short story called “The Loveless”. I think it forms a solid foundation for a potential novel that I want to write. It creates many openings for various plot points and story arcs that I think would be interesting to explore in a world controlled by AI.

As for getting married. I am hesitant to mention much about my love life as I enjoy the privacy of it. However, I will say that we met in medical school and she is an amazing woman. Smart, stunning to look at, and has big Ole green eyes.

I am enjoying my third year of medical school so far as it affords me the opportunity to actually start crafting my practice of medicine. I have already seen and observed several good practices which I have been incorperating into my day to day care of patients. I have also observed other not so good practices, which I know for sure I won’t be incoorperating into my own. You learn as much from bad examples as you do from good ones.

As for my next short story. I have no clue what the next story I plan on writing will be about. I’ll keep brainstorming and will write something up when I get a spare minute. Who knows!
